Ok so this memory is basically Dirk discovering MLP and MARATHONING THE FUCK OUT OF IT but this is also a really good indicator of what his life is like on a day to day basis and also just..... it's a very Dirk memory and actually pretty formative.

Dirk's feelings on this memory are kind of ambivalent. It confirms for him that he was, in fact, very under-socialized. This was, and is not, a big deal for him. He understands that he has been more or less alone for a long portion of his life— his bro has probably been dead since he was very young, and Lil Cal has been taking care of him ever since (Dirk still considers Cal a functional person and likely always will, though he recognizes that Cal is not a HUMAN person).

Jake and the AR | The ironies and Lil Seb

This memory starts off with Dirk being alerted that the robo-combat bunny he made to protect Jane has been activated. He pesters her to see why and they chat a bit about Lil Seb, the AR, his bro, and the game. Notably this is another memory where Dirk is outside but the memory doesn't really show his surroundings. He's on the roof of his apartment and there are seagulls wheeling overhead, the smell of the ocean, and the sound of waves. He is talking to Jane via 'thinking-typing' with the conversation displaying on his shades. He is in fact reading Jake's chatlogs with the AR but the focus on them is too fuzzy to make out in the memory.

Main points:
( TT: It's just a shame that believing will take something so coarse as seeing, for a girl as sharp as you. )

There isn't much emotive content besides a veritable mountain of Jane dere and a general sense of working/getting shit done.

Qualitatively, this memory doesn't have much to it: Jake is asleep and hanging out with Dirk, or rather, a splinter of Dirk that is manifesting as a brain phantom. Dirk fucks with him and Aranea, who is dead and a ghost, comes along drops some exposition on Jake in preparation to her taking him into the dream bubble to meet Meenah and everyone else on the meteor.

This is a huge clusterfuck of exposition let's bullet point:
